Yvonne Ternant had a excellent start to Easter as Mrs Ternant was the lucky winner of our Meet The Manufacturer competition. On the 1st April 2010 Yvonne picked up her Brand New 10 Reg 207 Sport and was also presented with £1000 Holiday voucher from Brian Hodgson, Branch Manager at Ashington.

A LOVE-struck couple tied the knot in the North East, with a little help from several of their friends...
Andrea Birchall and David Culverwell enjoyed their dream Valentine’s wedding in Adsa in Ashington, after winning a contest run by the store.
They were driven to spend the rest of their lives together –in a new Peugeot, provided by Ashington dealership Richard Hardie – after meeting in Germany when they were both serving solders.
Andrea, 22, wore a wedding dress provided by the shop when the pair got hitched on February 13 and the bridal party travelled in style in a Peugeot 3008 and a 5008 to meet their 50 guests, who enjoyed a free reception afterwards.
£2,000 from the competition win will go towards a honeymoon. They didn’t even have to pick up the bill for invitations to be printed.
David, 24, hadn’t proposed when they heard that they’d picked up the prize but quickly got down on one knee after the couple beat hundreds of entries to scoop the all expenses paid day.
Andrea said: “We’ve wanted to get married for a while now, but the only thing that’s been getting in the way is money, and why should money stand in the way of true love?”
“As soon as I found out the news, I phoned Dave. Within the hour he turned up at my work, got down on one knee and proposed properly with a lovely engagement ring!”

On Saturday 8th December Santa came early to Richard Hardie. Santa’s sack was filled with special seasonal discounts on new and used Peugeots. Customers came and negotiated their deal in person with Santa. Refreshments and mince pies were laid on for Santa, his elves, the reindeers and all Richard Hardie customers.
The event was a success and was enjoyed by customers and members of staff alike.
Local Peugeot dealer, Richard Hardie in Chester-Le-Street is celebrating news that two of its customer advisors have been named North-East District Champions for quality customer care and service.
Service advisors, Jeannie Stewart and Liann Davison have come top of the class in the Peugeot District Team Challenge, an online assessment programme for the CA (Customer Advisors) Guild.
Completing a series of gruelling online knowledge tests and scoring highly in customer satisfaction surveys, Jeannie and Liann beat off competition from nine other North-East Peugeot dealers to score a total of 803 points ( 38 points more than second place), when assessed across ten categories.
Commenting on their success, Jeannie said: “Both Liann and I are thrilled to have been crowned North-East District Champions, especially since we’ve both only worked in the motor trade for the last 18 months.”
